This is a very unique wood bowl.  It is wrapped in a silver-tone metal, perhaps aluminum, and nailed in place on a wood bowl base and lid.  The bowl opening is 3 5/8" across.  The outer measurement is about 6".  4 1/4" tall.  It is painted black inside.  Marked on the bottom:  Made in India.
