Two Kittens and Puppies large format heavy paper books available. 
By Hank Hart.  Each one sold separately.  They are actually the same book but one is published on the more durable linen texture paper and the other is on the regular smooth heavy paper.  This is a story book about different animals, not just Kittens and Puppies.  They are both filled with bright lithograph pictures.
Linen textured paper:
1940s Samuel Lowe Co. linen texture book.  Kittens and Puppies.  Artist Hank Hart.  12 7/8" X 9 1/2".  This is a textured paper that resembles the look of linen.  It is a bit more rugged than regular paper.  The colors are wonderful.  Large lithograph illustrations.  These large children's books were all about the illustrations.  Each artist of these types are books are now sought after.  There is a lot of detail in the pictures of this book.  This  book is in very good condition.  Some discoloring on the very top of the cover.  No writing or tears inside.  Kenosha, WI.  
SOLD   Regular heavy paper:
Kittens and Puppies. Artist Hank Hart. 13" X 9 1/2". Heavy paper. Unfortunately, a child has taken a black crayon and colored a few areas. The piggies and the bears got the worst of it. The story book still has some great color and lithographs. The cover is slightly separated at the very top. Large lithograph illustrations. These large children's books were all about the illustrations. Each artist of these types of books are sought after. There is a lot of detail in the pictures of this book.
