B. Gaspar del Bufalo. Born in Rome on the Feast of the Epiphany. Founded the Missionaries of the Precious Blood. A litho printed in Roma. No date of actual printing; probably the early 1900s. Yellowing of card, otherwise in very good condition. 5" X 2 3/4".
Virgin most pure, pray for us! 4 1/2" X 2 3/4". This is a 4-page small pamphlet. It states the "Marylike Standards for Modesty in Dress." Eight rules to follow when dressing and buying clothes. The Church has since loosened the rules. "A dress cannot be called decent which is cut deeper than two fingers' breadth under the pit of the throat...". This was part of the Marylike Crusade in Bartelso, Ill. In the Diocese of Belleville, Il, Albert R. Zuroweste was the Imprimatur (the approving authority). Some wear due to use. Sister Theresa of the Child Jesus. Fait en France. (Made in France). There is a small relic attached to the card. "My mission is to cause God to be loved as I love him, to show souls my Little Way of confidence and trust.". 4 1/2" X 2 3/4". Some wear around the edges.
